The Mobility Agency of Rome “Roma Servizi per la Mobilità” (RSM), was established in 2010, is fully owned and directed by the City of Rome (Roma Capitale) and it supports the Mobility Department in the exploitation of its policies, aimed at reducing the impacts of traffic towards a sustainable mobility system, also through the management and control over the “Contracts of Service” with the Public Transport Operators. Furthermore RSM mission consists in planning, supervising, coordinating and controlling the processes related to private and public mobility, sustainability and cycling, freight distribution and logistics, including planning of infrastructures and services, developing ITS for mobility in Rome.
RSM guarantees the relationship with the citizens for the information on mobility services and annually performs Customer Satisfaction analyses on mobility.
RSM has fully supported the Mobility Department in drafting the recent Urban General Traffic Masterplan. The PGTU is the strategic tool used by the City Administration to plan middle-term actions on traffic and mobility.
